Happy Birthday Manash, and Thanks!

I did think of you last night as I dined at Meson Cinco Jotas in Sevilla with the lovely Amanda. It was the best meal I´ve had in Spain so far. Delicious cuts of Iberian ham. Tender, full of juicy flavor. Served with a side of potatoes, peppers, and carmelized onions. Amanda had a yummy stew of pork and cauliflower. And as you requested, a bottle of red wine and a big smile. We stopped by Pando Restaurantes for coffee and talked the night away. Take care boss. Another year wiser...
Hi Tony,
I have not seen Hoang posted anything anymore. I was beginning to enjoy the insights offered by him since no one else here cares to tell the truth about life. Every one here is pretending to be go-happy and they always tell you the mush-mushy stuff. A while back, you stated in a previous-reply-to comment that you could have been a doctor and/or a lawyer if you wanted to. I completely disagree with you. You see, professional school is so competitive that not every one who applied will get in. Moreover, it takes discipline, dedication, and a lot of time to prepare for the various needed entrance exams. And not every one who got in stays to finish what they started. You are giving him too little credit and giving yourself a little too much.
Personally, from what I have seen in you: you don’t have the dedication and discipline needed to succeed either in med school or law school. And it's a little too late for you to even begin any kind of a professional school.
Do you disagree?

I neither agree nor disagree. I never had any interest in these areas of study. Who can say what you or I would really be capable of?
Ultimately, I´ve lost interest in arguing about this anyhow. Tell me why any of this should matter to me and maybe I´ll spend more time reading this and less time gazing out at some of the most beautiful views in my life.

To all these assholes who just have negative things to say, get yourself a life.. If your life is so great being lawyers and doctors than why do you bother being so negative? I think you are sad, sad people.
I enjoy reading Tony's blog and it's great to travel through him. If you are not interested in what he has to say, then don't bother reading it and posting stupid comments, no one is interested in what YOU have to say and about your stupid little life.
Travelling and meeting people from other cultures and walks of life is the most enriching thing to do,you obviously wouldn't know because if you had the open mind getting out of your little world, you wouldn't write such closed-minded things.
A Critical Guy,
I disagree. Your gross generalizations regarding professional school are unfortunately misplaced.
For starters, and should he so choose, it is not too late for Tony to attend. Many of the most successful professional school students challenge themselves and find themselves before they enroll. Doing so takes time. Life experiences help individuals learn their capabilities, their potential, and their interests.
Furthermore, the overwhelming benefits of pursuing other interests are recognized by professional school administrators everywhere. As such, many schools prefer students that achieve outside of the school setting. Should you need citations, read major newspapers, news magazines, or read books on the admissions process; I am not going to dignify your ignorance.

I believe most anyone can be a lawyer, if they so choose... Just look at our current administration! There's a whole load of lawyers who went to one of the lowest ranked law schools in the nation and now run our very government!
Kinda scary...
dude, she is hot!
Why ain't you getting some man?
what is your problem?
you gay or something?
